- A CCH medical volunteer team was dispatched to Dhading district of Nepal during Jan. 8th to 14th for short term medical service.
- With the accompany of Mr. Charles C. Li, the General-Director of TECCC, Mrs. Vimala Britto, the founder of Seek Foundation(Chennai, India), and Dr. Thamas Ponraj, the principal of St. Britto’s College visit CCH and have signed the MOU for international cooperation on Jan. 18th.
- Dr. Nina, CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center represented Taiwan AID to join 2017 Asia-Pacific Business Forum from February. 7th to 11th. held by UNESCAPE which main theme is “Linking Business with the Sustainable Development Goals: What Can We Do? “
- Feb. 15th, Bangkok Christian Hospital, Thailand visited Changhua Christian Hospital and Yuanlin Christian Hospital.
- On February 24th , CCH has signed the Memorandum of Understanding as sister hospital with Konkuk University Medical Center in Korea for exchanging knowledge, information and promoting advanced friendly healthcare in aging society..
- Changhua Christian Hospital and MATRIX of Malaysia have signed the MOU for further cooperation on March 1st.
- Mar. 3rd, The Delegation of Iberian Press Group (I), MOFA, visited Changhua Christian Hospital.
- Changhua Christian Hospital and University Medical Shing Mark Hospital of Vietnam have signed the MOU for cooperation from March 9th to 11th.
- Changhua Christian Hospital co-organized with Taiwan AID on Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) and Development Effectiveness Youth Training Workshop on March 11th.
- Tran Diep Tuan, the president of University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City, and the deputy president, Nguyen Hoang Bac visit Yuanlin Christian Hospital on March 17th and discuss the possibility of future cooperation and development.
- Dr. Nina, CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center was nominated by Ministry of Foreign Affairs to join 2017 Bond Annual Conference from March 18th to 24th.
- A thanksgiving lunch party for Taiwanese businessman in Vietnam was hosted by Changhua Christian Hospital on March 1st.
- Mr. Soong Tzyy-Jeng, the Director General of Central Taiwan Office and Mr. Yang Chueh-Hung, the deputy director on Home Assignment, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited Overseas Medical Mission Center of Changhua Christian Hospital on March 29th to discuss how NGOs in Taiwan participate the international development and cooperation.
- On March 31st, CCH hosted banquet party to acknowledge for Taiwanese businessmen who invest in Vietnam while back to Taiwan during spring break.There are around 60 businessmen joined the party in 2017 and Dr. Tzou-yien Lin, the former Minister of Health and Welfare also invited as the special guest.
- Bayukarta Hospital Karawang, Indonesia visited Changhua Christian Hospital on Apr. 11st and discussed the further cooperation in the future.
- Changhua Christian Hospital and EUROPACIFIC MANAGEMENT CO., LTD. have signed the MOU on 16th May for international patient referral service.
- Three medical personnel, Dr. Melissa Natalia Ince, Ms. Cassandra Veronica Snagg and Ms. Kemesha Akesha Nanton from Milton Cato Memorial Hospital of St. Vincent came to CCH for one month short-term advanced training. (14th May ~ 9th June)
- Four medical personnel, Dr. Richard Anthony Burt, Mr. Selwyn Brandon, Ms. Dashka Dupre St.Romain and Ms. Padrina Gaudiosa Auguste from St. Jude Hospital of St. Lucia came to CCH for one month short-term advanced training. (14th May ~ 9th June)
- Two PNG medical personnel, Dr. Kevin Lapu and Dr. Simberi Roussos Opeba Jojoga from Nonga General Hospital of Papua New Guinea came to CCH for one month short-term advanced training. (14th May ~ 9th June)
- Dr. Nina, CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center, was invited as moderator at “2017-East Asia Democracy Forum-Workshop on CSOs and Enabling Environment in East Asia” which organized by Taiwan AID on 24th May and 25th May.
- Overseas Medical Mission Center invited Prof. Lin Long-Full and Mr. Chiang Chun Mao, the two wastes water recycling experts to Myanmar for the swine waste water purification system construction consultation from 12th June to 14th June. This “Environmental Sustainable Development Project in Compassion In Action ” was supported by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ROC(Taiwan).
- Overseas Medical Mission Center cooperated with Taiwan Fund of Children and Families to identify the potential medical service sites in Myanmar on 14th June and 15th June.
- Changhua Christian Hospital has shipped a 40-feet container with donated patient beds, trolleys and stationery to Nonga General Hospital in Papua New Guinea on 14th June.
- On 23rd June, Lotus Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd. donated 30,000 tablets of Becavir (1mg) to Overseas Medical Mission Center, for patients in need in developing countries.
- A medical volunteer team was dispatched to Papua New Guinea for medical services from 24th June to 1st July, 2017. CCH has signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Nonga General Hospital for international cooperation, and witness by HU, CHI-PIN the Representative of Trade Mission of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Papua New Guinea.
- From 2nd July to 8th July, Ms. Mchail Miriam (from Papua New Guinea) came back to CCH for postoperative follow-up. Overseas Medical Mission Center also held a charity sale of the coffee beans from PNG of Ms. Miriam to help her save the cost of expenses and the feedback from CCH staffs was very positive.
- Delegations from Hospital Management Master Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta(UMY), Indonesia on July 5th and July 6th visit Changhua Christian Hospital, Erlin Christian Hospital, Yulin Christian Hospital and its Logistics Center for studying tour included expert lectures and hospital visiting program.
- Ten college students from Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan led by Taiwan Fund for Children and Families visited Changhua Christian Hospital on July 7th.
- A medical volunteer team was dispatched to St. Vincent for medical service from 8th July to 31st July and invited to call on Dr. Ralph Gonsalves the Prime Minister of St. Vincent.
- Six medical personnel, Dr. Buyandalai Erdenetulga,Dr. Dashdorj Uyanga, Dr. Ulziibat Enkhjargal,Dr. Selenge Bulgan, Dr. Bazargarid Altan-Undrakh,and Ms. Bayanjargal Tsetsegchuluun from Mongolia came to CCH for two weeks short-term advanced medical training. (23rd July ~ 6th August)
- A CCH medical volunteer team was dispatched to Mongolia from August 13th to 20th. The team conducted short-term medical service at Darkhan General Hospital and Grand Med Hospital respectively.
- Dr. Roshan Kumar Jha, from Armed Police Force Hospital, Nepal came to CCH for two weeks short-term advanced training. (27th August ~ 9th September)
- Four medical personnel from St. Jude Hospital, St. Lucia, Mr. Fidelis Obodechina、Ms. Sandra Knights、Mr. Ian St. Marthe and Ms. Dara Daniel came to CCH for one month short-term advanced training. (27th August ~ 22nd September)
- Two medical personnel from Nonga General Hospital, Papua New Guinea, Ms. Mary Vonole、Mr. Joseph Paul Tapal came to CCH for one month short-term advanced training. (27th August ~ 22nd September)
- A medical volunteer team was dispatched to India for medical services from September 9th to 17th.
- A medical volunteer team was dispatched to St. Lucia for medical service from 23rd September to 16th October.
- A medical volunteer team was dispatched to Papua New Guinea for medical service from 14th to 21st Oct., and have signed the MOU with Nonga General Hospital for international cooperation. Considering the prevalence of Breast cancer, CCH also invited Dr. Chen, Shou-tung the specialist of Breast Surgery to exchange advanced medical information.
- Dr. Nina Kao Hsiao Ling the CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center, CCH who was invited to participate in the Yushan Forum as a moderator on Oct. 12. On behalf of the Taiwan AID to reported How to implement the SDGs of UN in new southbound policy of Taiwan NGOs.
- A medical volunteer team will dispatch to Myanmar for medical services from 28th October to 4th. November led by Dr. Nina, Hsiao-Ling Kao the CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center.
- A medical volunteer team will be dispatched to St. Vincent for medical service from 18th November to 9th December.
- The Project Manager, Ms. Wan-Ting Tsai represented Overseas Medical Mission Center of CCH to receive the Award of the Outstanding Service & Contribution Prize of TIHTC which presented by Chi-Kung He, the Political Deputy Minister of Health and Welfare on November 10th.
- Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore has visited Changhua Christian Hospital and Logistics Center on 10th Nov., and exchange the experience of logistics management.
- A medical volunteer team was dispatched to St. Vincent for medical service from 18th November to 9th December.
- Dr. Nina Kao Hsiao Ling the CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center, CCH who was invited to be keynote speaker in 2017 TFCF International Symposium on Social Work in ASEAN(11/28-11/30), which was held by Taiwan Fund of Children and Families.
- Two medical personnel, Ms. Sandrina Desiree Hamilton and Ms. Khandace Chelsia Jacobs from Milton Cato Memorial Hospital of St. Vincent came to CCH for one month short-term advanced training. (20th November ~ 13th December)
- Five students, Ms. Eka Rivana Ali Hamzah、Ms. Naylil Mawadda Rohma、Ms. Rosita Jafar、Mr. Taufik Septiawan Tapip Purnomo、Ms. Madihah Binti Abdullah from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia came to CCH for one month short-term advanced training at Nursing Department. (20th November ~ 13rd December)
- On November 29th, delegations from Siloam Hospital, Indonesia visited Yuanlin Christian Hospital, Bariatric Surgery & Diabetes Health Management Center, and Diabetes Case Management Center of Changhua Christian Hospital.
- A medical volunteer was dispatched to Thailand on Dec. 16th for an eight-day medical service.
