 Calendar events-2018

  • On January 4th, Dr. Nina, CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center was invited to present the collaboration status of New Southbound promotion through international medical and NGO cooperation in Office of the President, R.O.C. (Taiwan).
  • On January 5th, the students from Morrison Academy, Taichung visited Overseas Medical Mission Center of CCH and discussed further cooperation.
  • On January 9th, the professor from Kyoto University, Japan interviewed the Health Management and Healthcare Information System (HIS) of CCH.
  • On January12th, JanDeputy Minister of Ministry of Health and Welfare, Mr. Ho Chi-Kung has visited Changhua Christian Hospital, Yuanlin Christian Hospital, Lukang Christian Hospital, Logistics Center, Reproductive Medicine Center, and Diabetes Institute.
  • From January 15th to February 5th, Ms. Glory, from Compassion In Action, Myanmar, came to Changhua Christian Hospital to seek therapy for cardiac disease.
  • On January 19th, CCH and Taiwan AID jointly held “The collaboration of NGO and enterprise in implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” Workshop.
  • From January 22nd to 25th, Dr. Nina, CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center and Dr. Chiu Han-Yao, Co-Superintendent of Changhua Christian Children's Hospital visited Angkor Hospital for Children, Cambodia. Discussed the further cooperation and the signing of MOU in the future.
  • On January 23rd, Overseas Medical Mission Center and Institutional Review Board were co-hosting the 2017 year-end party.
  • On February 6th, Dr. Prasit Watanapa, the Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital lead executive managers visited Changhua Christian Hospital, Yuanlin Christian Hospital and Logistics Center, 2018 and have signed the MOU with CCH for future cooperation in education and research.
  • From February 9th to 12th, CCH promote international medical collaboration between Taiwan and Thailand by holding three Diabetes Management and Tele-Medicine lecture in Bangkok, Thailand, based on the New Southbound Policy. CCH also provided 500 quota of two years free service in Diabetes Management through Telecare.
  • On March 1st to 2nd, Dr. Nina, Kao Hsiao-Ling, the CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center of CCH, who was invited to attend 1st Health Working Group Meeting of APEC 2018 in Port Moresby of Papua New Guinea with Ministry of Health and Welfare.
  • From March 11th to 18th in Turkey, Dr. Nina, Kao Hsiao-Ling, the CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center of CCH and Dr. Lee Kwo-Wei, the Superintendent of Yuanlin Christian Hospital were invited to attend “2018 Taiwan’s Tech-Centric Solution on Smart Healthcare- Improving Doctor-Patient Relationships” which held by Taiwan External Trade Development Council.
  • From March 15th to 16th, CCH left for Myanmar to help in pipeline modification and final acceptance test for Compassion In Action.
  • From March 18th to April 14th, Staffs from Overbrook Hospital, Thailand came to CCH for training Three Thailand medical staffs, Ms. Pakkharin Patong, Ms. Phacharaporn Wongchai and Ms. Puangpech Intayuang from Overbrook Hospital, Thailand came to CCH for one month short-term advanced training.
  • From March 22nd to April 4th, CCH assist an international patient from Singapore in infertility treatments at CCH Reproductive Medicine Center.
  • From March 25th to April 2nd, the pediatricians of CCH left for Philippines to support Morrision Academy, Thaichung for public health education project.
  • On March 26th, BNH Hospital, Thailand has visited Changhua Christian Hospital and Yuanlin Christian Hospital and exchange the experience.
  • On March 28th, International Press Group on Taiwan’s Global Medical Contributions has visited smart medical in Yuanlin Christian Hospital to understand the medical achievements and contributions of Taiwan’s public health.
  • On March 29th, Rangsit University, Thailand has visited Changhua Christian Hospital and Yuanlin Christian Hospital and exchange the experience.
  • On April 2nd, CCH hosted banquet party to acknowledge for Taiwanese businessmen who invest in Vietnam while back to Taiwan during spring break. There are around 60 businessmen joined the party in 2018.
  • From April 4th to 8th, on behalf of Taiwan AID, Dr. Nina, CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center of CCH was invited to attend an Asia regional conference “The effectiveness of International Cooperative Development” in Jakarta, Indonesia.
  • On April 17th, Thailand social media delegation visited CCH led by Prof. Chen-Yuan Tung, Representative of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office and accompanied by officers from Changhua County Government. During lunch break, CCH hosted the first banquet party to acknowledge for Taiwanese businessmen who invest in Thailand and invited Thailand social media delegation to join the party.
  • From April 17th to 26th, CCH assist an international patient from Mongolia in thyroid surgery.
  • From April 17th to May 4th, CCH assist an international couple from Palau in infertility treatments at CCH Reproductive Medicine Center.
  • On April 19th, the Ørsted, wind farm in Denmark visited CCH and signed the MOU with CCH for future cooperation.
  • On May 4th, The Vice Superintendent, Mr. Chihchung Chou represented Changhua Christian Hospital to receive the Award of the Friend of Foreign Service Medal of MOFA which is presented by Dr. Jaushieh Wu, the Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • From May 13th to June 9th, Four medical personnel from St. Jude Hospital, St. Lucia, Ms. Emmalie Laetitia Lucy Felix、Ms. Shermag Collida Theodore、Ms. Sharon Francis and Ms. Lania Melissa Jn. Pierre came to CCH for short-term advanced training.
  • From May 13th to June 9th, Three medical personnel from Nonga General Hospital, Papua New Guinea, Dr. James Luna Amlau, Ms. Annieker Yariyari and Ms. Felicitas Wowo and the founder of PNG Stoma Association, Mrs. Janet Yaki, came to CCH for short-term advanced training.
  • On May 30th, accompanied by officers of International Cooperation Office of Ministry of Health and Welfare and Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research, Dr. Nina, CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center visited Mr. Thongchai Chasawath, Executive Director of Thailand Trade and Economic Office (Taipei). Discussed the further medical cooperation with Thailand.
  • On June 1st, Dr. Chen Mu-Kuan, superintendent and Dr. Nina, CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center of CCH were invited to attend “Policy Briefing Meeting of Health and Medical Cooperation and Industrial Chain Development ” holding by Ministry of Health and Welfare and shared the project based on government policy.
  • On June 5th, Dr. Lee, Kwo-Whei, superintendent and Dr. Nina, CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center of CCH lead executive managers from four smart health companies in Taiwan to visit Rangsit University and RSU International Hospital, and have signed MOU with Rangsit University and RSU International Hospital for future cooperation in education and research.
  • On June 8th, Dr. Lee, Kwo-Whei, superintendent and Dr. Nina, CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center of CCH lead executive managers from four smart health companies in Taiwan to visit Bangkok Christian Hospital, and have signed MOU with Bangkok Christian Hospital for future cooperation in education and research.
  • On June 25th, CCH was invited to attend “New Southbound Market Healthcare Union” held by Taiwan External Trade Development Council and signed up as a member of the union with other 16 medical institutions. With the founding of the union, Taiwan eyes unlocking the potential of the medical service market in the Southeast Asian region.
  • From June 23rd to June 30th,A medical volunteer team was dispatched to Nonga General Hospital,Not only did the clinical service in hospital, CCH medical team also participated in the health screen and hold couples of presentations in the hospital and nursing school near by. 
  • On July 9th,Three nursing students of Sahmyook Health University,South Korea visited Changhua Christian Hospital.
  • From July 23rd to August 3rd, four medical personnel from Mongolia Dr. Duurenbileg Namsrai, Dr. Chimedragchaa Lenshin, Dr. Orkhontuya Jargalsaikhan, Dr. Battsengel Buyannemekh visit CCH for short-term advanced medical training.
  • From July 23rd to August 3rd, Mr. Sasikumar Sathiyanarayanan from Apollo Fertility Clinic of India came to CCH for short-term advanced training.
  • From July 28th to August 13th, a medical volunteer team was dispatched to St. Vincent.
  • On August 8th, Dr. Nina, CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center attended Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation inauguration and Asia Engagement Consortium reception.
  • From August 12th to August 19th, CCH medical volunteer team was dispatched to Mongolia for an eight-day medical service.
  • On August 26th, CCH held a health education presentation for Taiwanese entrepreneurs in Thailand. Dr. Wang, Wen-Fu and Dr. Kuo, Jeng-Fu from CCH shared their experience on how to prevent Metabolic Syndrome and Dementia.
  • On August 28th, Changhua Christian Hospital held the 2018 Taiwan Thailand Smart Healthcare Conference in Thailand at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit in Bangkok, focusing on the innovation and challenge of new era smart healthcare, and sharing the experience and challenges while facing smart healthcare in Taiwan and Thailand.
  • From August 30th to September 1st, CCH attended TAIWAN EXPO 2018 in Thailand and Dr. Nina, Kao Hsiao-Ling, the CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center of CCH, was recommended as representative of Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion.
  • From September 1st to 8th, CCH medical volunteer team was dispatched to India for an eight-day medical service.
  • From August 27th to September 21st, Four medical personnel from St. Jude Hospital, St. Lucia, Ms. Dancia Vanerly Lafeuillee, Ms. Lana Agatha Itan-Glasgow, Mr. Jason Kieran Missole and Mr. Antoine Jameson came to CCH for short-term advanced training.
  • From August 27th to September 21st, Four medical personnel from Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, St. Vincent, Ms. Sharmine Samantha Culzac, Ms. Cherry-Ann Earlene Morris, Mr. Calson Noland Douglas and Mr. Roald Shallow came to CCH for short-term advanced training.
  • From September 1st to 8th,a medical volunteer team was dispatched to India for medical services.
  • From September 17th to September 21st, accompanied by Dr. Le Quang Trung, Deputy Director of Department of Health, Dong Nai, the Director of University Medical Shing-Mark Hospital, Vietnam, Dr. Su Son lead 2 hospital managers to visit CCH for short-term study tour.
  • From September 17th to September 21st, the Director of Overbrook Hospital, Thailand, Dr. Witoon Yongmethawut lead 11 hospital managers to visit CCH for short-term study tour.
  • From September 22nd to October 8th,a medical volunteer team was dispatched to St. Lucia for medical services.
  • From October 06th to October 13th,A medical volunteer team was dispatched to Nonga General Hospital. Not only did the clinical service in hospital, CCH medical team also participated in the health screen and hold couples of presentations at the hospital near by.
  • From October 8th to October 9th, CCH collaborated with Taiwan Alliance in International Development (Taiwan AID) on 2018 Asian NGOs International Development Conference. Dr. Nina, Kao Hsiao-Ling, the CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center of CCH,was one of the panelist during the conference.
  • From October 11th to 12th, CCH attended 2018 Yushan Forum held by Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation. Dr. Nina, Kao Hsiao-Ling, the CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center of CCH, one of the panelists, shared the strategies, results, and future perspectives of the implementation of One Country One Center (Thailand) project.
  • From October 21st to October 25th, CCH medical volunteer team was dispatched to Vietnam for five-day medical services.
  • From October 28th to 29th, CCH attended 2018 Global Health Forum in Taiwan, demonstrating the result of New Southbound medical industrial collaboration and the post-disaster reconstruction project in Nepal.
  • From October 27th to November 3rd, CCH medical volunteer team was dispatched to Myanmar for an eight-day medical service and rehabilitation training.
  • From November 8th to 10th, Dr. Lin Ching-Hsiung, Dr. Kao Hsiao-Ling, and Pastor Chen represented Changhua Christian Hospital to attend the 23rd Annual Convention of Asian Christian Hospital Association.
  • From November 16th to December 15th, five students(Endrat Kartiko Utomo, Muhamad Azis, Eka Firmansyah Pratama, Alfi Rusdianti, and Agung Widiastuti) from Universitas Muhammagiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia came to CCH for one month short-term advanced training at Nursing Department.
  • On November 21st,Delegation from CPMC of Thailand visited Yuanlin Christian Hospital for discussing smart hospital design, construction, management and the potential of further cooperation.
  • From November 26th to 30th, 6 executives from Nursing Division of Ministry of Public Health, Thailand, visited CCH for short-term study tour.
  • From November 26th to 30th, 6 managers from Police General Hospital, Thailand, visited CCH for short-term study tour.
  • From November 26th to 30th, 3 managers from Walailak University, Thailand, visited CCH for short-term study tour.
  • From November 26th to 30th, the CEO of Nonga General Hospital, Dr. Ako Bobby Yap lead a manager to visit CCH for short-term study tour.
  • On December 1st,Thailand delegation including Thailand Private Hospital Association,Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research, Thailand Medical Informatics Association, etc. were led by Prof. Chien Chung-Liang, CEO of Institute for Biotechnology and Medicine Industry, to visit Yuanlin Christian Hospital.
  • On December 3rd,Thailand distinguished guests including staffs from Rajavithi Hospital and Department of Medical Service of MOPH have been led by Dr. Somsak Akksilp, the Director General of DMS-MOPH, to visit Yuanlin Christian Hospital and exchange the experiences on smart healthcare management.
  • From December 5th to December 6th,Delegations from Hospital Management Master Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta(UMY), Indonesia to visit Changhua Christian Hospital for short-term study tour.
  • On December 12th, Dr. Lee, Kwo-Whei, superintendent of Yuanlin Christian Hospital and Dr. Nina, Kao Hsiao-Ling, the CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center of CCH were invited as speakers to join the “2018 Wining New Southbound –the Great Asia Strategy for Economic and Trade Forum” and shared the experience to connect the IoT industry and smart healthcare between Thailand and Taiwan.
  • On December 14th, Dr. Chen, Mu-Kuan, superintendent of CCH and Dr. Lee, Kwo-Whei, superintendent of Yuanlin Christian Hospital received the Smart Hospital Award for Whole Organization by Joint Commission of Taiwan(JCT).
  • On December 18th, Dr. Nina, Kao Hsiao-Ling, the CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center of CCH was invited to join the “International Medical Aid Sharing Session” and shared the experience and achievement in implementing Papua New Guinea Mobile Medical Service Program.
  • On December 20th, In order to strength the relationship between Taiwan and Thailand and share the experience of smart healthcare, Changhua Christian Hospital donated the Vital Sign Measurement Station and Digital Imaging Diagnosis devices to Bangkok Christian Hospital for setting up the smart healthcare demo-sites in the hospital. The donation MOU was signed by Dr. Kuo Shou-Jen (Superintendent of CCH) and Dr. Chousak (Director of BCH) and witness by H.E. Tung Chen-Yuan (Representative of TECO in Thailand) and Rev. Dr. Taweesak Mahachawaroj, (Chairman of the Church of Christ in Thailand).
  • On December 22nd, Changhua Christian Hospital signed medical devices donation MOU and donated the Vital Sign Measurement Station and Digital Imaging Diagnosis devices to Overbrook Hospital in Chiang Rai, the north part of Thailand, for setting up the smart healthcare demo-sites in the hospital.
  • On December 22nd, CCH held a health education presentation for Taiwanese entrepreneurs in Thailand. Dr. Huang Sung Yen shares the experience on the application of acupoint massage in Chinese Medicine.
  • From December 22nd to 28th, CCH medical volunteer team was dispatched to Thailand for a seven-day medical service.
