To provide convenient access to fertility care, the Center organized the
infertility clinic, injection room, semen pick-up room, ovum pick-up room,
embryo culture room and embryo transfer room into a wide space. The
infertility patients will receive medical services in a warm and comfortable
environment.

1. CCH Obstetrics and Gynecology Department is operated by certified
physicians, providing treatment of female diseases and care
to maternity.
2. Dr. Ming Chen leads the Center for Genetic Counseling, providing
comprehensive genetic examination items and eugenic counseling.

Center received National Biotechnology & Medical Care Award
in 2006.

1. Infertile counseling.
2. In-vitro Fertilization (IVF) Fertility medications are prescribed to stimulate
ovulation, which is often referred to as ovulation induction.
Eggs are
retrieved through a minor surgical procedure which uses ultrasound
imaging to guide a hollow needle through the pelvic cavity.
In a process
called insemination, the sperm and eggs are combined together
in the
laboratory and are provided the appropriate environment for
fertilization
and early embryo growth. The embryos are transferred into the
woman's
uterus. The average of success rates is 50%.
3. Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) IUI is the process by which sperm is
deposited in a woman's uterus through artificial means. It involves
washing
a semen specimen to concentrate the sperm. IUI has a success
rates
about 20% to 30%.
